During my regular six month visit, I had a test preformed that I have never had before. I also received a vaccine during that visit.

My routine tests have always been coded wellness / preventive and are cover by my insurance. All my vaccines have been covered as well. Since I had that one test all my labs from that visit were coded diagnostic including the vaccine. There is no way a vaccine should be code diagnostic.

After already paying $94.00 when I checked in, I now owe $725.50 more! My insurance would have paid for this had the billing department coded it correctly.

I am not happy about being billed for services that would have been covered by my insurance. I spoke with BCBS and they also verified that my labs were coded incorrectly.
